The new Bosch 34614 Compact Tough 14.4-volt 1/2" Drill is a step above its predecessor. With an array of upgrades from the previous model line, I think you'll find it really is a great deal.

With up to 150 more rpm and 80"lb more torque from the previous models, this drill is even more rugged and powerful that you can imagine. Whether you're putting screws into that new deck or drilling holes you will find this drill to have more than enough power for you.

It features a single sleeve 1/2" chuck for quick, one-handed bit changes and a 20+1 clutch to tune it exactly where you need it for precise driving applications. Of course, like many models, it features a variable speed trigger for absolute control of the drill in whatever situation you happen to be using it.

This baby really packs a punch with its 2 speed gearbox and a high-torque mode that produces over 370"lbs of torque, and thanks to Bosch's BlueCore battery technology, all of this power won't drain the battery quickly. You can expect to get hours of use out of this guy.

The package comes with 2 batteries in the event that you need an instant swap-out to keep using the drill, and thanks to the BlueCore technology, the charger will have an empty battery charged in about 30 minutes.

On a personal note, I recently bought one of these drills to replace a very old one that had finally died, and it really stands up to a beating. I found the new handle grip to be much more comfortable when holding and using the drill for extended periods. The single sleeve chuck really made it easy to swap in different bits as I needed them as well. I would give this drill a 10 out of 10 in every category.
